Licensed Professional Counselor

My therapeutic specialties include trauma, grief, neurodiversity and family of origin issues, which if not resolved will result in life long struggles. I know from personal experience that you can't change your history, but you can overcome it by your choices. You want freedom from stress, anxiety, and other trauma issues so you can experience lasting peace and satisfaction in living your life to the fullest. As your therapist, I will assist you to work through your most difficult issues. I use a Christian based approach that incorporates trauma focused modalities such as T-MRT, TF-CBT and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and I also, most recently, have been trained in multidimensional grief therapy to assess and assist in resolving difficult grieving. As a therapist, I would love to be able to encourage, affirm, and equip you so you can find healing in those issues that you have struggled with a very long-time. You can book with me by clicking on my website link. **Credentials & Experience:** I have over 20 years of experience helping adults, adolescents, and families in the mental health, ministry, addiction, and education fields. I'm licensed as a mental health therapist in both WA and SD and have been trained in numerous therapeutic modalities.
"I use a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach when dealing with faulty thinking issues. However, if dealing with trauma, I use a trauma-based approach such as trauma-focused cbt or accelerated resolution therapy. With grief issues, I will use a multidimensional grief therapeutic approach to deal with complicated or uncomplicated grief. Sessions includes processing, equipping, and calming."
