About

When you begin counseling with me, my desire is for you to feel seen, heard, and valued. When you aren’t resonating with something I’m doing or when I’m not hearing what you are saying, I want you to tell me. I will be a compassionate witness to your story and I hope that as you experience this type of compassion, you will cultivate more self-compassion. I will be curious to learn about your experience in the world. You get to set the pace and share as much or as little as you want. We will work together to create goals and envision what successful therapy looks like for you and a path forward to get you where you want to be. I help individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families heal unhealthy patterns of relating to themselves, others, and the world so they can thrive in relationships as their authentic selves. I take a person-centered trauma-informed approach where I listen to the client's story and structure counseling sessions to what they need to heal and grow. The first step is always the hardest, but it may be the step you've been needing to make for a long time. I'll be here to walk with you throughout your journey, to celebrate the wins with you and to help you hold hope when change feels impossible. To begin, you can schedule a time for us to have a brief phone call. **Specialties:** I work with children, adolescents, couples, and adults. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples and families heal unhealthy patterns of relating to themselves, others, and the world so they can thrive in relationships as their true authentic selves. My priority is to help all clients feel seen, heard, and equipped to handle whatever challenges life throws their way. **Credentials & Experience:** Prepare/Enrich certified, Premarital Counseling, EFT Externship Completion, Nervous System Regulation, Somatic Tools Training, and EMDR.

"My therapeutic lens is trauma-formed and influenced by attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, and internal family systems. After your initial session, I will gather some family history and learn more about what your experience has been in close relationships. You will learn tools for emotional regulation, mindfulness, deep breathing, grounding, self-compassion, and somatic practices."
