·LACAbout
The ideal client is open, curious, and ready to grow—whether a teen facing academic or social stress, a young adult navigating identity and life transitions, or an adult working through burnout, relationships, or past wounds. They may feel overwhelmed or unsure but are willing to explore, reflect, and build healthier patterns. They value a supportive, collaborative space where they’re seen, heard, and empowered to live more authentically. Growth may take time, but they’re committed to the process. With a foundation in sports psychology, I work with athletes to enhance mental resilience, manage performance anxiety, recover from injury setbacks, and build a healthier relationship with competition and self-worth. My experience in school settings allows me to deeply understand the social and emotional complexities young adults and teens experience As a Licensed Associate Counselor, I’m dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, I work collaboratively with the client to explore solutions and understanding **Specialties:** I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or trauma related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter **Credentials & Experience:** I have over a decade's worth of experience working with adolescents and adults navigating mental health issues. I'm a licensed sports psychologist in the state of NJ and hold additional certification in school counseling.
"I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better"
