About

I am a cis, Queer, white, neurodivergent, partnered woman with children. I live in a non-disabled, straight/thin body, I work with individuals and romantic relationships. I see all types of clients in my practice. I specialize in work with the LGBTQIA+ population. I work with issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, neurodivergence, coming out, identity changes, and relationship concerns (relationship repair, amicable separation, communication, co-parenting, managing transition/identity changes, kink, and ENM), I offer counseling as well as professional supervision and consultation. Therapy is an active, authentic conversation, and goals are client-led. You will find compassion and humor in the room with me, as well as gentle reflection and challenge. We will work to free your from old patterns created by experiences with our families, significant relationships, and past traumas, as well as the culture and systems within which we live. My approach is intersectional, holistic, and trauma informed. I apply attachment, existential, feminist, narrative, and queer theories. I approach therapy from anti-oppressive lens by bringing attention to the impacts of power, privilege and oppressive systems on our health. Together we will create a safe space to empower you to move toward your life goals. **Specialties:** My approach is intersectional, holistic, and trauma informed. I apply attachment, existential, feminist, narrative, and queer theories. I am a Certified Wellness Counselor, Hypnotherapist and utilize mindfulness/meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping), and other mind-body approaches to compliment traditional talk therapy. I am completing certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy. **Credentials & Experience:** I have 15 years of experience as a mental health counselor. I am a licensed supervisor as well. I consult and train other relationship counselors to work specifically with the LGBTQ population. Please contact me to learn more about counseling, supervision and relationship training with me.

"In therapy, we will aim to move past just managing symptoms to find the root causes of distress and stuck places in your life. I'm seeking certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I use attachment theory and inner child techniques in the room with you. We'll find freedom from the old "story of you" created by your experiences, culture, and significant relationships throughout your life."
