About

You already are on the path of your own healing, because you have faced difficult things, or may be going through difficult times right now. Something inside of you believes that change is possible. I invite you to have us explore something you already have, your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and lived experiences. Imagine understanding yourself more and unlearning beliefs that no longer serve you. What feels like only a desire to be at peace with your past, can feel as true as living in the present moment. As we develop safety and trust in our work together, we will learn to challenge negative thoughts, control intense emotions, try different ways to cope, and help the past feel less yucky. The tools we use include trauma reprocessing like EMDR therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, Person-Centered, and Motivational Interviewing. Words like "trauma" or "healing" are difficult to talk about, yet, you feel a little curious about what change can look like for you. Whether you are at the beginning of your healing journey or in that challenging process, you no longer have to do it on your own. Let's work together at a pace that feels the most manageable for you. **Credentials & Experience:** I am EMDR level 2 trained in the work of trauma reprocessing, and CAMS trained to assess and treat suicide ideation.

"Through a trauma lens, we will use Person-Centered Therapy to explore what you have been through, how you got through it, and what you want out of life going forward. Then we can dive into challenging negative thoughts and managing icky emotions with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Reprocessing unresolved trauma with EMDR, too."
